Dear Parents,
Happy second week of Advent!
Don't forget the Christmas Store will be open tomorrow starting at 3:00 for your convenience. Yesterday, the students found some good presents for their families and friends. There are some really good sales, and you don't need a coupon.
We are in great need of all surveys being returned. Notices were sent home yesterday listing all those we still need.
A week from today is the Christmas Program at 7:00 pm.
Our adopted Christmas family list went out from each classroom. Please check it, and do what you can to help a very needy family. All wrapped gifts need to be in by next Wednesday morning, the 19th of December.
Keep saving those cans, box tops and soup labels. Don't forget to go online for shopping, or use the Scrip gift cards. Mary Miller is doing a great job selling them at the Masses and in school. It's really nice having Wal-Mart gift cards available, especially for gas.
In the midst of all the hustle and bustle (I know it's crazy), don't forget to pray together as a family, hopefully around your Advent wreath.

Class Christmas Parties
Classroom Coordinators and Room Moms: Next Thursday, December 20th, the students will have their Christmas parties in the PFC, from 10:15 to 11:30 am. Parents will be able to get into the PFC to prepare following our 8:00 am School Mass. Please discuss any plans you may have with your classroom teacher. Build the Village
Be sure to see the flyer included today about the continuing Holiday Specials at our online School Mall. In November, our school earned $438! And - it's not too late to shop - purchases made through
December 18th will get to you in time for Christmas! Check out the information in the flyer, and go shopping online today!!
The Grinch Exchange
Sims Library is having a Grinch Exchange for Teens, ages 13 - 18, on Wednesday, December 12th, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Each teen is encouraged to bring a $3.00 - $5.00 gift to exchange. Participants will have the chance to steal each other's selected gifts. Snacks will be provided. This is a great opportunity to have fun and make friends!
Grant Committee Meeting
The Grant Committee will meet this Thursday, December 13th, at 1:00 pm in the school cafeteria.
Calling All Angels
If your student is to be an "angel" in the Christmas program, be sure their attire, or the costume you make, is all white. Also, remember to make their wings!
Names, Please?!
Please write your student's name on checks and envelopes for any payments made for the school hot lunch program.
