Dear Parents,..
A great thank you to all of you who were able to come out last Friday and help in any way with our Field Day. Thanks to Mrs. Sivinski, the teachers and all of you, it was a tremendous success. The Lord helped us with a gorgeous day, also.
This year we tried to have electives once a week for grades 4 - 6. As a whole,
I think they were successful. Aside from myself and the trash drums, I want to thank Mrs. Freisner who offered Yoga and Study Hall, Ms. Elliott/Mrs. Friske who offered Basic Sewing and Crochet, Ms. Tallett offered Band, Mr. Tallett offered Guitar, Jeff Dunn offered Tae Kwon Do, Sam Miller offered Drawing, and Mrs. Tidwell offered Weaving and Map & Compass. Each of these electives gave an added boost to the curriculum and to their Wednesday afternoon. Thank all of you for giving extra time to our darlings. Hopefully, we'll be able to offer some electives next year.
This Thursday is our Spring Program and Art Show. The Program starts at 7:00 p.m. Come early to save a seat (bring your chairs), and view all the great art work the students have done throughout the year under the guidance of Laura Mottla and Joyce Wright who have done a super job teaching art each Monday to our darlings.
ALL FEES, TUITION, AFTER CARE, ETC. MUST BE PAID BEFORE REPORT CARDS ARE GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS. SOME DATED REGISTRATION FEES HAVE NOT BEEN PAID. ANY RETURNED CHECKS FROM THIS DATE THROUGH THE SUMMER WILL HAVE A RETURNED CHECK FEE OF $50.00.
Hopefully, we'll see you all here Thursday night to see your darlings perform.
Are you praying as a family each day/evening?
Ms. Volker
Yearbook Signing Thursday
Yearbook signing will take place this Thursday. We have 13 yearbooks left for first-come, first-served at the price of $30.00 each. We thank Mary Monk for doing a great job putting it all together. It takes most of the year staying on top of events, groups, activities, etc. to gather the variety of pictures from everyone. Thanks, Mary, for another great yearbook.
