Logan Zobojnik graduated with the Saint Joseph class of 2015. Today it was announced that he is the 2019 Palmer High School Valedictorian! Mrs. Zobojnik exclaimed over email, “I feel like St. Joseph was his cornerstone and still cherish every memory there.” Congratulations, Logan! We are so proud!
Congrats to Aiden Severson! After training with the Knight’s Track Team all spring he placed in his Division at the Polka 5K! Coach Gerber did a great job conditioning all of the runners and providing positive motivation and self belief! Way to Go Aiden!

Some members of the St. Joseph Band attended a Bishop Dunne football game to join with the high school and intermediate band to play in the stands. Unfortunately it was a rainy night but students were still able to rehearse along side the high school band, eat pizza and mingle with the Bishop Dunne students, and jam in the cafeteria with the intermediate band.
Seventh Grade Spanish Class: They were either working independently or in teams of two to try and understand a reading in context, and then answer comprehension questions about the reading.
Second grade concluded their sharing stories theme in reading by celebrating a very special week. They had a librarian bring a bookmobile to their classroom and share some very special stories. They also had a parent visit their classroom to read to them. Second grade got to share their favorite stories by reading to the pre-k 3 students. They visited the St. Joseph Library to learn about the Dewey Decimal System and where their favorite genres are located. They also had DEAR time in the library to wrap up their love for reading.
