St. Joseph Catholic Church
St. Joseph Catholic School is proud to be a ministry of St. Joseph Catholic Church, located just steps from our school buildings. This close relationship means faith is not something we only teach—it’s something we live together as a community.
Our students participate in weekly Mass, holy days of obligation, and seasonal liturgies throughout the year. Father James is a regular presence on campus, supporting students through sacramental preparation, classroom visits, and spiritual guidance. We also join the parish in outreach efforts and community events that strengthen our shared mission of service and discipleship.
Together, the school and parish form one united faith family, committed to raising children who love Christ and live their faith out loud.
A Welcome from Our Pastor
A headmaster for a school once described his goal as cultivating students who would be ‘acceptable at a dance and invaluable in a shipwreck.’ The purpose of a parish school is to equip each student according to the timeless teachings of the Church with the human, religious, spiritual, moral, and intellectual formation necessary to live a healthy and holy life in today's culture. Our young people need to know their God-given dignity, the freedom of personal responsibility, and trust that God has a plan for their lives which includes union with Him in heaven. The Church teaches that parents are the primary and principal educators of their children; as pastor, I am blessed to work with a team of professionals committed to supporting parents to ensure that our parish school is a place where their child can grow in wisdom and grace.
May St. Joseph continue to intercede for us!
Father James H. Yamauchi
Pastor, St. Joseph Catholic Church
