What to Wear, When

Uniform Guidelines

Official Provider: Flynn O’Hara

Used Uniform Sales:
Held on campus throughout the year. Look for announcements in newsletters or on the school calendar.

  • Boys & Girls Common Items:

    • Green polo (performance or knit) with SJCS crest

    • Navy pants, shorts, or skorts

    • White, navy, or black socks (small logos okay—no designs)

    Outerwear Options:

    • Navy fleece zip‑up jacket or cardigan with SJCS crest (optional)

    Belts (Grades 1–8):

    • Required for all students wearing pants or shorts

    • Plain navy, brown, or black—no designs or decorations

    Shoes:

    • Solid black or white shoes, or solid black uppers with white soles

    • Laces must be black or white—no colorful laces, designs, high tops, Converse

    • PK3–5: Vans and high tops not allowed

    • MS (Grades 6–8): In addition to the above, allowed options include polished black dress shoes, Sperry (white, tan, navy, black), and Vans (solid black or white)

  • Boys:

    • Navy pants (no shorts)

    • White or blue Oxford button-down shirt

    • Grades 4–8: necktie (traditional or clip-on)

    • Belt (Grades 1–8)

    Girls:

    • Plaid jumper (PK3–3) or skirt/skort (grades 4–8)

    • White Oxford or Peter-Pan collar shirt

    • Grades 4–8: cross-tie accessory

    • Official SJCS spirit shirt

    • Uniform bottoms (navy pants, shorts, skirt/skorts)

  • Announced in advance via school newsletters

    • Jeans must be clean, free of holes

    • Shirts must have sleeves and modest logos/text

    • Closed-toe shoes required

Additional Guidelines & Reminders

Label all uniform items with your child’s name.

  1. Skirts must be no more than 2″ above the knee; shorts no more than 3″ above the knee.

  2. Hairstyles should be neat and not distracting.

  3. Infractions will be addressed by teachers or the front office.

  4. Uniforms must reflect Christian modesty. For questions, please contact the front office.
